In some ways, the little town jail on May River Road has been a blessing for us. Since it was just 1,000 square feet, it was easy and affordable to pay the monthly utility bills.
With our new building at 39 Sheridan Park Circle being seven times the size of the “jail”, our utilities and related maintenance expenses are much greater. Since more thought and planning is necessary to budget for those expenses, our board has established a fund to launch a Utility and Maintenance Endowment, with every hope that it will dramatically offset our long term utility and maintenance costs.
We encourage you to consider making a one time or ongoing donation toward this fund. We welcome your donation by mail. To earmark your contribution, please make checks payable to Bluffton Self Help and in the subject line, indicate “Utility Endowment”, and mail to: Lili Coleman, Executive Director Bluffton Self Help PO Box 2420, Bluffton, SC 29910.
If you prefer, we also welcome your secure contribution via Paypal.
