Purchasing tickets in advance is a great way to support Bluffton Self Help and taste delicious chili from chili cooks from throughout the region. Each ticket includes an entry wristband and  bottomless “People’s Choice” chili tastings. Children under five enter and taste for free!

As a special incentive, every advance ticket holder will be entered in our “early bird” drawing, where you may win special prizes, just as our “thank you” for supporting Bluffton Self Help.

HERE’S HOW TO ORDER:

To order your advance tickets now by check, please send us an email with the number of tickets you wish to purchase. We’ll confirm your request and ask you to send us a check for the appropriate amount ($7 per ticket). We will set your tickets aside for you, and you may pick them up when you arrive at the event.

Want to learn more about the ICS Chili categories?

Chili cooks from throughout the US compete with local restaurant chefs in any of five categories: (1) Traditional Red, (2) Chili Verde (Green Chili), (3) Salsa,  (4) Homestyle, and (5) People’s Choice (Spectator-voted). Winners advance to the ICS-sanctioned “World Chili Cookoff”. Favorite among locals is the “People’s Choice” award, where locals become tasters and judges!

Calling all Restaurant chefs!

Bring on the spices and fire up those burners! There’s nothing like the fun of cooking and “getting your chili on” at the RED APRON Chili Cookoff. Local and regional cooks and restaurant chefs are encouraged to register to rub noses and compete with chili chefs from throughout the US, all to benefit Bluffton Self Help.

So that our Chili Cookoff can compete with the best chefs in the region, the $100 Entry Fee  has been waived for restaurants who apply by February 10th. (Other fees continue to apply).
