We appreciate our Volunteers! The mission of Bluffton Self Help is to help individuals in the greater Bluffton area who are in need of short-term assistance. With the help of our Volunteers, we are able to keep our costs low, enabling us to contribute more to those in need. As a matter of fact, 91.5% of our revenue is spent on the people we help!We currently benefit from 30+ helpers who commit to one shift per week, either a weekday morning or afternoon. Front room Volunteers meet and greet our clients, accept donations, fold clothes and stock our food pantry. Office assistants answer the phone, accept applications for financial aid and enter data into the computer. Some individuals are unable to work weekly but substitute on an occasional basis. If you are interested in learning more about how you can support our Volunteer efforts at Bluffton Self Help, please stop by and ask for Ellen. Without Volunteers, we would not be in operation! | |||||||||||||||||||||
