Bluffton Self Help strives to meet the basic needs of families facing crisis or poverty. We provide free food, clothing, financial assistance and other basic needs, such as coats, toiletries, diapers, wipes and formula to our Bluffton neighbors. Meeting the basic needs of our families helps them on their path to personal success.
Bluffton Self Help's Wellness Food Pantry offers a client-centered shopping experience with access to fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy and non-perishable food items such as beans and cereal. With a higher-than-average cost of living in Bluffton, it's important to provide access to healthy, fresh food options to our Bluffton neighbors. Since COVID-19 we have changed our in person shopping to a contactless drive-thru grocery pick-up. Our neighbors may drive-thru once a week for pre-bagged groceries.
In response to the pandemic and an effort to provide access to healthy food to all neighbors, Bluffton Self Help has begun offering home delivery services for pre-bagged groceries to clients who are either homebound due to medical reasons or do not have transportation to visit BSH for food. This service may be offered on either a temporary or permanent basis. Any neighbor who finds themselves in a situation that makes it difficult or impossible to attend our Drive-thru Grocery Pick-up please call 8430757-8000, choose option 3 to complete a questionnaire and be added to the delivery schedule. Slots are limited.
* For food safety reasons clients must be home during the delivery window.
Open to a limited number of Bluffton residents who are homebound.
